The first two upgrades are pure attack speed increases, something not yet given to the Dart Monkey in the Bloons TD series before. Path 2 is about speed and projectile count. It starts with increased pierce for darts, then converts the Dart Monkey into a Spike-O-Pult which then upgrades into a Juggernaut that can pop Lead Bloons and finally the Ultra-Juggernaut for immense grouped Bloon destruction. Path 1 is themed around increasing the Dart Monkey's pierce. In addition to this is an entirely new set of higher-tier upgrades dedicated to crossbows. Another significant change is that Dart Monkey now has access to new upgrades that increase attack speed permanently, a first for the Dart Monkey. Many changes have occurred for the Dart Monkey, the most significant of which is that the base 0-0-0 tower can now pop two bloons per shot instead of one and both the Sharp Shots and Razor Sharp Shots upgrades have been moved to the Spike-O-Pult path. Later, the Dart Monkey was teased in future BTD6 teasers until the official release of BTD6. Its base tower image was displayed as part of the way to convince players of BTD5 that BTD6 is still in production. There are minor differences to the Dart Monkey's visual appearance, however.ĭart Monkey is one of the first towers to be teased prior to the release of BTD6. Overall, it looks not too different compared to its BTD5 counterpart outside of having the general BTD6 art style. Its belly also features a small belly button. Its belly is oval-shaped with two angular ovals above, colored the same as its skin. Its fur is brown and its skin is a slightly lighter tone of brown. As with all monkeys in BTD6, it has got big circular eyes, thick brown eyebrows, and fur around most of its head except its face. The Dart Monkey is a non-clothed monkey with a tuft of hair for its hairstyle. 8.4.1 Perspectives of Dart Monkey Vinyl Figure. If you have any money left make sure to spend it on the tower you want to get xp on,doesn't matter what upgrades. Some tips:If you have the upgrades for the Alchemist and the Ninja, place down a 4-0-1 Ninja and a 4-0-0 alchemist. You won't need camo detection nor lead popping power.Make sure to not place any towers in the range of the alchemist because we only want the ninja to get buffed(There will be a round with camo leads and the ninja has to be the one buffed in order to complete the round, you might even be able to complete the map). Steps1.You will start with 20000$,now choose the tower you want to upgrade.Ģ.Put as many copies of the said tower near the track(This will boost the xp gain by a lot)ģ.You should consider saving for a cannon(If the tower doesn't have lead popping power) and put it in one of the 2 squares(If you are using Monkey Meadow),if not make sure to put it somewhere around a loop.Ĥ.If the tower doesn't have camo detection, you might have to unlock a 0-2-3 wizard(You won't need a cannon if you have the upgrades for the 0-2-3 wizard!)ĥ.At last, you don't have to complete the map to gain the xp,you just have to complete a round.Wait until you die and then enjoy your sweet xp. The Wizards received very little XP compared to the others. I had 2x 402 Ninja, a 402 Alchemist, a 402 Dart Monkey, and about 40x 000 Wizards. This came from the BTD6 wiki, and seems pretty accurate after a bit of testing. For example, 3 towers, you have spent $100 on A, $100 on B, and $200 on C. So, it may appear that more monkeys = more XP, but that's because as you spend more on a monkey type, it will get more of the share. Each round gives a certain amount of base XP, which is then split up between monkeys on the map based on cost. Just a note: XP is not based on how many of any monkey are on the map. The more copies of a single tower you have deployed, the more xp you get.įreeplay doesn't give you as much xp as you would during the rounds before freeplay There are 2 facts you should keep in your mind: In order to unlock tower upgrades(tiers) you have to get tower XP.You get a small amount of xp every round for each tower you have in your current setup.
